Dr. Jiban Karki
Executive DirectorDr. Jiban Karki is a public health and development expert with over 25 years of experience in project management and research. He holds a PhD in Public Health from the University of Sheffield and a Master’s degree in Rural Development from the University of East Anglia. With academic and practical experience across the Global South, he currently serves as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, leading the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) aspects of a multi-country research project.
Rudra Bahadur Neupane
Program ManagerRudra Bahadur Neupane is a senior development professional with 28+ years of experience in disaster risk management and rural development. He holds master’s degrees in Disaster Risk Management and Rural Development and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. He has worked with organizations such as PHASE Nepal, UNDP, and JICA.
Urmila Adhikari
Acting Program ManagerUrmila Adhikari is a public health and nutrition specialist with over 10 years of experience in health and community development. She holds a Master’s degree in Food and Nutrition and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She has been instrumental in managing and implementing health programs at PHASE Nepal.

Fundraising ManagerDr. Bhagawan Das Shrestha is a medical and public health expert with over 21 years of experience in international NGOs and UN organizations, including UNICEF, WHO, Plan International, and Save the Children. He holds a PhD in Public Health, a Master’s in Public Health, a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, and a certificate in Medical Science (General Medicine).

Finance ManagerSunil Sapkota is a finance and administration professional with 16+ years of experience in the NGO and private sectors. He holds a Master’s in Business Studies (MBS) and a Bachelor’s in Business Studies (BBS). He has worked with PHASE Nepal, KI Nepal, and CCODER.

Research LeadDr. Situ KC is an epidemiologist and public health researcher with over 5 years of experience. She holds a PhD in Health Sciences/Epidemiology and an MSc in Public Health from the University of Tampere, Finland. She has worked as a consultant with Family Health International and a lecturer at Kantipur Academy of Health Science.
