PHASE Nepal focus on enhancing education in remote communities, particularly for women and children. We equip teachers in remote schools with advanced teaching techniques to foster better learning environments. Women’s literacy classes are provided in areas with limited access to adult education. We support government schools by improving infrastructure, including WASH facilities, to raise the quality of education. Additionally, we conduct child rights orientations for students, teachers, school management committees, and parent-teacher associations. To promote education, we organize street dramas and documentaries, while also raising awareness about social issues such as trafficking, child labor, early marriage, and menstrual exclusion. We work to increase girls’ enrollment and participation through empowerment workshops, child clubs, and extracurricular activities, and help create child- and girl-friendly environments in schools.
