A GIS mapping of four informal settlement areas.

Accountability and Responsiveness Informal Settlements for Equity (ARISE) project is implementation research project funded by the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM).

The title of the research “Assessing the status of living conditions and accountability status of people living in informal settlements in Nepal: A mixed method implementation study”.

The aim of this study is to assess the living condition, mental health status and access to services of people living in 4 informal settlements in Kathmandu: Manohara and Bakhu; Pokhara: Chhorepatan and Pragati Marg of Nepal and strengthen relationships between relevant stakeholders and improve accountability towards them.

The project duration is from March 2023 to January 2024.
