National Level Health Workshop on “Providing Primary Health Care in Hard-to-Reach areas of Nepal.”

Reflecting on more than a decade of experience working in Primary Health Care in remote villages, PHASE, in coordination with National Health Research Centre and with funding from ADA, organized a nation level event titled ” Workshop on Providing Primary Health Care services in Hard-to-Reach Areas of Nepal.” This workshop provided platform to many other NGOs, Government Agencies, Health Institution and International Universities to share and learn from each other’s experience in the area of providing effective health services in remote areas of Nepal. 7 different papers were presented by the dignitaries from PHASE Nepal, Department of Health, Manmohan Institute of Health Sciences, PHECT Nepal and University of Sheffield .
The formal presentations were followed by more in depth focus group discussion in the following 6 thematic areas of primary health care service.

  3. Training and Guidelines in providing services
  4. Nutrition Intervention in Primary Health care
  5. Addressing Non Communicable disease
  6. Electronic data management
